This is Freya, the smallest Brat Pack girl. Freya is also the smallest animal in the facility, at no more than ninety pounds. She is very playful, and has very unusual behavior. Freya moves her ears and eyes a lot when she looks at you, so her facial expressions are unique and humorous. She just seems to be so alive and so full of spirit that you just can’t help but love her. Freya is white, very small, and has a small scar under her right eye. Freya is easy to identify but hard to spot, she could be anywhere in the facility; and is one of the least likely wolves to approach tours.
When Kevin first arrived at the Wolfkeep Freya was his pusher, meaning that she had decided that as the new guy she was going to personally see what he was made of. At the time, Sarah had recently been displaced, Ollie was near the end of her reign, and Freya was relatively high in pack status. For for his first three months at the Wolfkeep Freya was at least one foot behind him everywhere he went in the enclosure. Soon it became her game to stalk him up the hill every morning after feeding and watering - a stalking and pouncing game unusually similar to that of a large feline. Kevin would always turn around before she caught up and she would back off. Then one day he built up the courage to see what she would do if he let her get there. Of course, she nipped his ankle, and although it was very light he chased her away because we shouldn’t condone that behavior. The rest of the day she strutted around the entire enclosure with a big smile on her face - so proud. Since then Freya has become somewhat of an independent. Sometimes she gets in with the Brat Pack and hangs out with them, and other times she gets chased away to the low girl’s corner. She is much too young and ambitious to stay there, though.
