Woody
This is Woody; he is Wizzy’s only son, and our only beta male. He is also the largest of the Brat Pack litter. Woody is not only the largest wolf in the facility, but the largest wolf in the state of Montana. Woody last weighed in at a whopping 140 pounds, and he still has two years of growing left (watch out Wizzy)! In the picture above Woody is on the left playing with his dad! Yes, Woody is towering over the alpha male in the picture. Currently, Wizzy is still the king and makes sure to roughen up Woody every morning for about ten minutes, but we will see how long he can contain this giant. For the time being, Woody seems content at staying the beta male.

Woody is very jumpy and cautious towards people, but is still only about two years old. He is a friendly wolf, and will approach almost anyone at the fence, but inside the enclosure he is usually a little shyer. If he trusts you he will occasionally give you a quick kiss or two, but that’s it. Woody doesn’t like to get petted or scratched right now, but as he gets older we are hoping that will change. He seems pretty curious and watches closely when we pet Wizzy and Shylee.

Though Woody is very nice towards humans he is not always that way to other pack members. In fact, he is usually known to beat up his older sisters. After all, he is a Brat Pack member, though the nicest of the four. In fact, Woody is probably the one factor that keeps the Brat Pack on top; without him it’s really three older sisters versus three smaller, younger sisters.

Woody is almost pure white with a gray spot on his tail, you can tell him apart because his head is nearly twice the size of every other wolf in the facility.
